Our home has a back exit/entrance, for us to use to park our car and the two motorbikes in.

However we have to come through an alley way to gain entry.

For years now PIKITUP services have been doing an awesome job in keeping this and many other alleyway clean.

However NOT once this year have they even bothered cleaning it out. You ask why don't we the people living in that area keep it clean?

I keep our area as clean as I possibly can, but there is no way in hell I am picking up dirty nappies and other peoples rubbish, just because they are too darn lazy to put them into bags.

I have now gotten four reference numbers as I have been calling PIKITUP and asking for them to send out a crew to clean up.

I have had a visit from SAPS, and was shocked by this, as they are looking into illegal dumping. Was told that they are attending to it. I mean don't they have enough problems?

People passing by the alley way have used this place as a local toilet, and the smell sometimes is enough to make me throw up.

I use our extra long hosepipe and water down as much as I can.

It really is pissing me off, as they seem to have just given up hope. And with the 2010 fast approaching, I find myself wondering what these people are going to think of our slum area's and the filth.

So PIKITUP get a thumbs down from me.
