Duiwelsdrek (Devil's crap)- apparently treats flatulence. ALso used to protect babies from evil spirits. (Stinks to high heaven, even more than flatulence )

Staaldruppels - to stop bleeding and to build up a young woman who menstruates.
Stuipdruppels - to prevent seizures.
Galpille - for constipation and excess bile.
Paragoric Elixir - For pain and fever, diarrhoea and for baby's teething.
Sterksalf - ointment for backacke Lumbago and joint pains.
Turlington - good antiseptic, inhalation therapy for asthma, colds an coughs.
Witduslies - For colds and fever, asthma and dizziness, also removes ball point pen stains from clothes.
Versterkdruppels - tonic restores vitality and appetite.
Ipekakuana tincture - to induce vomiting (why on earth?), also for dry cough and acute bronchitis.
Wonderkroon - Constipation, winds and indigestion.
Jamaika Ginger - Tastes bad, really bad. helps for sore throat and haemorroids.
Entress druppels - Nervousness, restlessness and sleeplessness and pain associated with winds (mainly south easterly winds).
Balsam Kopiva - For kidney ailments, inflammation and bladder condition.
Balsam sulfuris - Constipation
Bordruppels for cough and bronchitis. (mix this with honey, paragoric elixer, Raw Linseed oil for the best cough mixture ever)

I found that the only cough meds this winter that helped really was the Lennon's cough mixture with honey.
