With the Main Chassis and body work done, I can now start looking at the Rebuilding of the vehicle.

1. Welding, panel beating, Painting - Welding up the Chassis and body panels and laying the Paint work.


2. Electrical - Rewiring the Renault 2.5 is not going to be too difficult. I'm planing some new lights for the rear and adding Relays on some of the items that require a little more power. IE.: the headlights.


3. Motor - Inspection of the motor shows that it's still in good shape, and only require minimal work.


4. Interior - New carpeting and seats are the order of the day. Because of the shortened chassis there are a few special considerations.


5. Under Chassis - Including the Fuel system, Hydraulic brake lines, Hand brake & Exhaust. Each of these have a special need because of the shortened chassis.


6. Tyres - Rims and Tires are getting a special treatment too.


7. Other Items - A list of other items that might not need a dedicated page, Like mirrors, Bumpers, etc.
